The First Christmas Living Nativity Coming December 13 and 14

(Woodbridge, VA) Each Advent season The Worship Center presents a gift to our community with The First Christmas drive-thru living nativity. The eleventh annual event opens December 13 and 14, 2019 with performances from 6:30pm-8:30pm on the grounds of Hylton Memorial Chapel, 14540 Potomac Mills Road, Woodbridge, VA. Admission is free. In what continues to be one of the region’s favorite Christmas destinations, this family-friendly, live drama recreates pivotal moments surrounding the birth of Jesus Christ in vivid detail with stunning effects, cast, ornately crafted costumes, and elaborately decorated sets. Camels and other animals add life filling the panoramic six-scene narrative of the near 100 mile journey Mary and Joseph experienced leading to Bethlehem where God entered the world as a baby. The production includes favorite songs of the Christmas season.

Voted 2019 Best of Prince William by InsideNoVa, The First Christmas is preparing for the anticipated attraction of visits representing individuals, families, groups, and buses. The drive-thru event also has generous parking so the viewer can walk scene from scene through Gabriel’s announcement to the Virgin Mary, the marketplace in Bethlehem, the innkeeper’s dilemma, the shepherds keeping watch in the field, the Herald Angel, the Magi’s trip by camel, and the grand finale at the manger.
